Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean-Paul Gaultier was first recognized in 1970 for his innovative fashion design and has since designed  some of the most infamous costume of the past decades, producing sculptured costumes for Madonna with her infamous cone-bra and her wardrobe for her Confessions Tour in 2006. Gaultier also caused shock by using unconventional models for his exhibitions, such as older men and full-figured women, pierced and heavily tattooed models, and by playing with traditional gender roles in the shows. This earned him both criticism and enormous popularity.
